I remember being at my apartment, feeding my 7 month old little baby at about 9am when I flipped on the news and heard about the 1st tower. I actually sat there and watched LIVE when the 2nd plane hit the other tower. I woke up my husband and we both sat and watched all day. I was pregnant with Allyson and had all kinds of mixed emotions about the safety of bringing another child into the world. It was a very scary time. I had many nightmares because of 9/11. I am so grateful for the Military that we have who fight for our rights and our freedom. I'm proud to be an American Citizen and I will never, ever forget this day...no matter how many years go by.
May God bless the families of those affected by the tragedy of 9/11.
