My amazing Guy & Our Weekend

Well, I kept plenty busy with my friend Carianne. She sells amazingly cute stuff and she always kicks booty at craft shows. She sells magnet boards, 'Look what I did today' boards, Recipe boards, tiles with beautiful saying on them and vinyl signs. You guys need to check her out at http://www.simplystatedvinyl.com/ Her site is new...but you get the idea and you can see what I'm talking about...she rocks and her ideas are originals! I brought along a few boxes of candles to try and get rid of some of my stock. I think I'm going to switch to Soy candles, or just make tarts so I can go be a 'Scentsy' consultant with their cool warmers. We'll see....I'm forever changing my mind about my little business and it's future.

The craft show was fun, busy...but fun. I love catching up Cari when we both have the time. She took me to dinner Saturday night after the craft show ended, and we met up with a few other ladies I hadn't seen a while. It was so fun...until they made fun of me for being prudish and not having a dirty mind like they do. Well hey...I haven't had man around to do 'married' things with in what...2.5 years?? Haha. I was totally lost in some of the convo. It was fun regardless. I love them.

The 2nd day at the craftshow was a bit slower, so we got to talk alot more and just have fun. Cari is totally an inspiration to me when I need it most. She was a dear friend to me and Johnny, then she was 100% there for me when he was in the hospital (as was my other friend DeAnne), and she's been there after as well. You can't FIND friends like this...it just kind of happens. And best of all....she approves of Rowland. Haha. I was wondering what she'd think about him. He came to our rescue while we were setting up the craft show booth last Friday afternoon. So...she had to love him. He's great.

After the craft show was over Sunday night, and we took down the booth and loaded up...I went home and Rowland was there with the girls waiting patiently. They had prepared a 'surprise' dinner for me. He is the sweetest man ever....I know..you don't have to tell me. They fixed Those Beef sandwiches that you dip in the 'Au-jous'? (Spelling?? ) And he had made my favorite.....Creamed Cauliflower. He made it for me in Idaho back in Feb. of this year when I visited him and I fell in love with the stuff. After we ate dinner..we sat down on the couch to relax and he pulled my feet up on his lap to give me a foot rub!! Where did I find this man did you ask???? In Idaho ladies... You'll have to fly to Idaho to find one just like him...and no..he has no brothers so don't email me and ask. Haha. I'm a lucky girl and I'm beginning to see that more and more everyday. I'll post a few pics of us from my 1st trip to Idaho to visit him last Feb. and of us visiting him in July 2008.

Edited to add:
Ok...now I'm totally serious here. Rowland watched my kids all day yesterday while I did a show with Cari. He entertained them all day yesterday, made dinner with them for Me.., read stories and jumped on the trampoline. Now today is Monday and the kids are on Thanksgiving Break..so he's been watching them today for me too. He took them to Lowe's, to a pet store to play with the puppies, to Dick's Sporting goods store to play games with the girls, Office Max, then finally to Target to buy them Lunch. He walks in just as I'm finishing this post..and he has a bowl of Broccoli Cheese soup and a breadbowl for me. No kidding. He's truly a sweetheart!
