RIP LUCY GOOSEY

We had a Mini Schnauzer named Katie while I was growing up. She had about 3 litters of pups and only 1 of them were pure bred schnauzers. Out of that schnauzer litter, we kept 2 of her daughters, Lucy (which I named) and Buffy (which my brothers named.) Lucy was supposed to be MY dog when I moved back home but Mom got attached to her and never would let me have her. Well..last week while Mom and Dad were out of town to visit Grandma in AZ, I watched the 2 girl dogs for them. I got to spend lots of one on one time with Lucy and Buffy. They loved all the attention and my girls loved having them around.Lucy started feeling sick yesterday and was vomitting and such. Mom decided that we'd take her to the Vet hospital the next morning, but she passed away b/w 4-6am this morning. Mom and Ashley (my sister who lives at home still) couldn't find her outside after they'd let her outside to use the restroom. We found her lifeless under the deck, in her favorite hiding spot. It was so sad. The vet that we called said it sounded like she'd eaten something poisonous and that's what caused her to vomit and use the bathroom so badly before she died. She was the dog that looked identical to Katie (the Mama dog) and it just breaks our hearts that she's gone. We still have Buffy, but Buff is used to having her sister by her side always. The clean each other, sleep together, play together, etc. RIP Lucy Goosey!! We love you.

That's so sad! I'm sorry for your loss. My cat I have had for over 14 years ago died on the 14th so I can truly feel your heartache. Hugs!
Aww Julie that's terrible I'm sorry you lost her so suddenly she was a beautiful dog!
So sad. I'm sorry for you guys and Buffy. I remember Katie... surprizingly...I don't remember anything! It is always hard to lose a pet.
